SLIPPERY ELM is the powdered bark of the Slippery Elm Tree. It is slightly glutenous in structure when mixed with water. This is one of the reasons that it soothes and heals as it lines the gut. Slippery Elm also contains a growth stimulant which stimulates rapid healing in the lining of the gut.

MYRRH is known as a healer of the mucous membranes.

GOLDENSEAL’s nickname is “King of Tonics to all mucous membranes”, it also contains broad range antimicrobial actives.

Gut Repair Powder - The mix is 80% Slippery Elm, 10% Myrrh powder, and 10% Goldenseal powder. These powders are mixed in a jar. The dose is 1 teaspoon stirred quickly into 1/2 cup of hot water to ensure there are no lumps. It is best drunk immediately as the drink gets thicker on sitting. More water can be added if too thick.
