Oats Burgers

Preparation

  1. Bring water, liquid coconut aminos, and olive oil to boil in a large saucepan.

  2. Add oats and simmer for 10 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

  4. Allow to cool just slightly and form into patties on oil-sprayed cookie sheet, using a round ¼ cup measure or ice cream scoop to make uniform patties.

  5. With wet fingers, flatten patties and round edges.

  6. Bake at 350° F for 30-35 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 ½ cups of water

  • ¼ cup of liqiud coconut aminos

  • 1/3 cup of olive oil

  • 4 ½ cups of old-fashioned oats

  • 3/4 cup of walnuts or sunflower seeds

  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds

  • 1 diced onion

  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

  • Salt to taste

White Gravy

Preparation

  1. Blend smooth all except 2 cups of water.

  2. Pour into saucepan.

  3. Rinse blender with the remaining water. Add to pan.

  4. Lightly boil 1-2 minutes, stirring.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups of water

  • ½ cup of cashews

  • 1/8 cup of cornstarch

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
